Home/office shredders can’t guarantee your privacy. Shredding and throwing out your confidential documents doesn’t insure that they remain confidential. There is document reconstruction software that can scan paper shreds and reassemble their contents. Not only can identity thieves use this method to steal your identity, your competitors can use this to steal trade secrets and other confidential information right from your dumpsters.
